Up to 150 people attended the Blackberry Bakeoff on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at the Langley Demonstration Garden in the Derek Doubleday Arboretum. The summer festival offers education about invasive species as well as sampling of blackberry dishes, judging, a barbecue, live music, and crafts.
