For more than seven decades, Langley has held a banquet to honour pioneers - defined at people who are at least 70 years of age and have lived in Langley at least 60 years in total. On June 8, 2024, they were invited to a luncheon that featured a display and presentation on the historic CN rail station in Fort Langley, as well as vintage music and lots of catching up with friends.
