Community Day is a long-running local event that features community groups, government agencies, charities, and others with information displays in Douglas Park, as well as live entertainment, a food truck festival, a beer garden, vendors, the firefighter challenge, inflatables, games, and charity fundraisers. This year's event on Saturday, June 8, 2024, was on one of the warmest days of the year so far and attracted large crowds.
