Gathering at Chilliwack General Hospital on Feb. 21, 2026, honouring the memory of the late Keegan Combes of Skwah First Nation with a new artwork, and plaque that pledges active anti-racism efforts in the health sector. In attendance were reps of FNHA/Fraser Coast Salish Health Caucus, Fraser Health and the community. The plaque contains a pledge to work together to ensure that 'all peoples from all places and all races' will get the 'highest quality of care that is respectful of all cultures and beliefs.'
