Firearm seized in 3-hour call to Central Saanich BC Housing building

The police service was called to a building at Prosser and East Saanich roads shortly after 9 a.m. regarding "a male with a firearm entering a building," Central Saanich Police Deputy Chief Kevin Hackett told the Peninsula News Review. Central Saanich and Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team officers attended and contained the scene and evacuated residents from the building.
