It has been 50 years since homosexuality was decriminalized in Canada. This is a Surrey Mountie's tale of reconciling with her great uncle being "purged" from the national police force she now works within. Corporal Elenore Sturko, a lesbian, is spokeswoman for the Surrey RCMP, the largest RCMP detachment in the country.
