Langley Animal Protection Society held its annual gala on Saturday, July 16. The first in-person fundraiser in two years, the animal welfare organization held this year's event as a summer soiree, under large tents at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley. The event, with sponsorships, donations, and silent auction raised $85,000, and more is expected to come in during the days to come.
