Bill and Arlene Pike found out they were chosen as Langley Seniors of the Year on her 80th birthday. The Langley Seniors Resource Centre chooses a man and a woman to be Seniors of the Year based on nominations from the community. The Pikes were chosen for their community involvement and volunteerism. They represent the community at local events. The 2019 Seniors of the Year were asked to retain the title for 2020 because of COVID. As society opens up again, it's expected that the couple can attend functions.
