Just shy of 30 car collectors brought their vehicles out in the rain on Monday, May 24, for the unofficial May Day parade in the historic village of Fort Langley. Last year's drive through town attracted more than 75 car enthusiasts. This year, organizers hoped for 300-plus. But liquid sunshine stopped many from coming out. If May Day festivities, including the traditional parade, had been able to happen, this would have been year 99. But, last year's events and this year's festivities were both cancelled due to COVID-19.
