A Humboldt Broncos hockey player paralyzed in a bus crash in Saskatchewan two years ago is back at rehab after three months of sitting at home as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown. Ryan Straschnitzki had spinal surgery in Thailand last fall and controls a device in his spine which sends electrical currents to his spinal cord to stimulate nerves and move limbs. Straschnitzki says he regrets the lockdown has kept him from playing sledge hockey.
