Stranger Things just broke a Netflix record in four days. It was viewed by 40.7 million households since its release on July 4, making it the most viewed Netflix release in its first four days. 18.2 million of those households had binged the season within that time. One analyst suggests that the series has reached 26 per cent of Netflixs global paid subscription base. The new season features eight episodes and focuses heavily on 1980s nostalgia.
