Dog owners, vets concerned after some dog foods possibly linked to heart problems

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says 16 brands of premium dog kibble might be linked to a serious heart condition. The agency says Acana, a brand manufactured by Champion Pet Foods, tops the list of kibble that may be associated with a greater risk of canine dilated cardiomyopathy, or DCM. The FDA's latest update has intensified doubts about grain-free diets. (The Canadian Press)
