Roughly 30 residents gathered in Penticton's Nanaimo Square to protested a proposed bylaw amendment that would outlaw sitting or lying on city sidewalks on Main Street, Front Street and Martin Street from May to September 30. The amendment will come before city council again on June 4, where they will decide whether or not to give it its third reading, placing it into effect. (Jordyn Thomson - Western News)
