Youth from the community and members from the Williams Lake RCMP, Denisiqi Services Society, Changing Directions and the Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District wrapped up their free, drop-in hockey sessions at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex this past Friday with a fun, mini skills competition. The aim of the program is to get youth active and connected with the various agencies in the community through sport. It started three years ago, runs for six months starting every October and was created through a partnership between the four organizations.
