Oliver resident and member of the Okanagan Indian Band, Marlan "Pretty Boy" Hall is leaving the amateur mixed-martial arts fighting league on top. Hall successfully defended his Battlefield Fight League featherweight title against Casey O'Leary on March 17 at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam. Having earned the most wins in the league as an amateur fighter, Hall plans to return after the summer to fight professionally. Jordyn Thomson - Western News
