"Game of Thrones" creators and actor Emilia Clarke are responding to mounting social media backlash after the HBO show's latest episode aired over the weekend. WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. Clarke's character on the show, Daenerys Targaryen, has gone full "Mad Queen," and fans are not happy. In Sunday's episode, "The Bells," Dany and her dragon burn King's Landing to ashes. Many fans were disappointed with the decision to turn Clarke's character into a villain. Clarke posted a photo of herself on Instagram after the episode drinking an entire bottle of champagne. Clarke also responded to the episode in a behind-the-scenes video on HBO. David Benioff, the show's co-creator, suggested that viewers should have seen the character turn coming.
