Dozens of parents and children made it down to Gyro Park on May 4 for the 9th annual Duck Drop presented by the South Okanagan Kin Club. Kids got to enjoy the sunshine, have their face painted and were entertained by a duck mascot and Trixie the Clown. The ducks were numbered and tickets with the correlating number could be purchased for $5 in advance of the drop. The duck that landed closest to the centre of the target took first prize.
