Three students from the Penticton Indian Band's (PIB) Outma Sqilx'w Cultural School will be heading to Toronto next month to participate in the 12th annual Indigenous Youth Dance Show on May 23. The show is hosted by Outside Looking In, a nationally-registered charitable organization that aims to empower Indigenous youth through the transformative art of dance while they pursue their education. Thirteen Indigenous communities across the country have dancers participating in the event, which kicks off with a dance camp for the performers in advance of the show.
