The lights are colourful and wild down at the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre for its Magical Nights of Light, continuing Dec. 15, 21 and 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1240 Leffler Rd. in Errington. There's a laser light show where animals are drawn onto the trees by the pond, as well as a photo opportunity with Santa, a hugging bear and two sassy elves, as well as various other light displays.
