A cluster of balloons denotes the wheelchair entrance to the Penny Farthing pub. Locals might recognize the green, black and white - the school colours to lead the nine members of the class of 1946 to their luncheon reunion in the garden room of the Oak Bay pub. While tales of first kisses and girlfriends aren't fit to print, the group of nonagenarians (and a couple of adamant not-yet-90-year-olds) share memories of the three cent bus rides and dancing to Glen Miller and the Andrews Sisters over beverages and burgers.
