CN Rail introduces a pilot project in the Prince Rupert harbour that will benefit coastal ecology students at Coast Mountain College. The 22 concrete reefs will be lowered into the harbour in November, providing a potential opportunity for students to explore species identification and colonization as part of their course work. The artificial reef structures have been set up at the Lightering Dock in Prince Rupert for the public to view.
