A new sand volleyball court is going in at Tulista Park in Sidney. With views of the Salish Sea, the court is being built now, and between the art gallery and the municipality's recently-completed skateboard and riding park. At a cost of $30,000, the Town says it'll be built to Volleyball Canada standard, and able to host competitions. If it's popular in the community, there's room for a second court down the road. The first one is expected to be open to the public before Canada Day.
