Chilliwack runners and walkers lined up in the Caen Ave parking lot on Saturday morning to celebrate mothers.
At 9 a.m. the crowd launched into the Run for Mom route after an early morning of activities and warm-ups as part of the effort to raise funds for the Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH).
This year, a new CT scanner is the target of the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation for the CGH and will be added to the historical $420,000 of equipment raised by the organization since 2000.
