Prince Rupert had its first North Coast Whale Festival on April 14. Hundreds of people came to learn more about the pod of orcas, known a A42s, that show up in the Prince Rupert harbour around the same time every year. There was more information on whales and the ocean, and proceeds from some of the festivities will go toward the North Coast Ecology Centre Society.
