Everyone's invited for cupcakes, coffee and selfies to say farewell to the controversial sculpture Friday April 20 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the site near Lokier Garden. The Nose Knows is on its way to a public exhibition in Palm Springs, California. The ArtsAlive 2018 jury selected Douglas Taylor's kinetic Nautilus Sail to replace it. Taylor also created the Bodhi Frog wind piece that graces Willows Beach near the Esplanade. That work from the 2017 ArtsAlive stays in place as someone purchased and donated it to Oak Bay.
