Co-founded by a Brentwood Bay company and another in California's Silicon Valley, 19Labs is about to hit the market with their GALE products, designed to connect people in remote areas with health care professionals. Equipped with diagnostic tools, the GALE devices could be used at seniors' care facilities, on board ferries or just about anywhere that has cellular - but a lack of doctors.
