A traditional maritime blessing was held on Monday morning, March 12, at Tofino's First Street dock. Local pastors sprayed boats and ships with Holy Water and prayers were offered to protect all those who navigate the waters. The event was hosted by Steve Bernard of the Tofino Clayoquot Heritage Society and members of the Tofino Choir gathered to sing the National Athem. (Nora O'Malley / Westerly News)
