A group of children gathered at the Chilliwack Library to have fun-and maybe learn a little bit about coding. A few of the educational Sphero robots rolled around the carpet under the control of youngsters as part of the Fraser Valley Regional Library's (FVRL) new lending collections across its 25 locations. The organization has about 200 Spheros it will loan out (minus a smart device needed to control-patrons must supply that component) as well as ukuleles available for borrowing. Other object oriented "in-library" experiences such as virtual reality and green screens also pop up as part of scheduled activities. For more information, go to fvrl.bc.ca and click the Playground tab in the top menu.
