The PC Plus and Shoppers Optimum points programs are merging. That means you will use one card at all Loblaws-owned stores, including Shoppers Drug Mart. The new program will be called PC Optimum Points will keep their current value. Under the new system 10,000 points = $10 One analyst says it's hard to tell whether this will be better for consumers. Another says the merger could keep customers coming back RBC retail analyst Irene Nattel. The programs have 19 million active members combined.
