Wetaskiwin area Oilers fan and school bus driver Steve Bredlow made a bet with his passengers that the Edmonton NHL franchise would win the Stanley Cup this spring, or he'd shave his head. After the Oilers lost 2-1 in game 7 of the series May 10, Bredlow said farewell to his hair May 11.
