Rup Loops a.k.a. Rup Sindhu was in Williams Lake Thursday, Oct. 20, presenting his latest project Human Radio. He gave workshops to local students at the invitation of the Community Arts Council of Williams Lake. His visit culminated with an evening audience-participation performance at Lake City Secondary School Williams Lake Campus. The 90-minute concert saw people of all ages up dancing and students Rup had worked with during the day free styling. Rapper musicians Beka Solo originally from Nemiah Valley and Rich Mac from Tletinqox also took to the stage sharing some of their latest songs and were back performing in their former high schools. Rup is a multi-talented performer and artist who has an incredible energy and cultural perspective. His live shows blend hip-hop, Bhangra, classical Indian music, beat-box and live-looping. The message is positive and the sound is uplifting.
